Labcorp OnDemand alternatives for women's hormone tests
Labcorp OnDemand is also a walk-in service. You buy a test online and give your sample at a Labcorp location. So the question here is less about how the sample is taken and more about which menu, which lab and which results portal you prefer.
This page sets out what each offers and who each suits. We are not affiliated with Labcorp. Its facts below come from its own pages as of October 2026, when we read them.
Basic female hormone panel
The lowest-priced panel with estradiol, total testosterone, thyroid and general health markers. The seller says to fast for at least 8 hours.

What a walk-in lab test offers
- A blood draw at a lab. The seller’s pages for its single hormone tests describe a simple blood draw, with no urine sample, swab or physical exam.
- Separate tests for each hormone. The seller sells progesterone, estradiol, FSH and LH, AMH, prolactin and the testosterone tests individually, and also sells panels.
- A stated turnaround. The seller’s pages for single tests say results appear in your account within one to three business days.
- Your lab order sets the timing. It says whether to fast or to draw on a particular cycle day. See when in your cycle to test.
The seller does not sell in every state. Check the list at where testing is unavailable before you order.
What Labcorp OnDemand’s pages state (October 2026)
How it works. The home page says you can buy a test online without a doctor’s visit. It also says all Labcorp OnDemand testing requires an order from an authorized healthcare professional, and the test pages say a healthcare provider will review and approve your test request, with no provider visit required. Samples are given in person at a Labcorp location, and the home page also describes some at-home collection kits. Results appear in a Labcorp Patient account.

The home page says most test results are available within 1 to 2 days of your sample arriving at the lab. The individual pages give the ranges above, so read the page for your test. The Menopause Test page says the test cannot diagnose menopause.
We could not read a list of unavailable states or a statement on fasting on these pages, so we say nothing about either.
Who each option suits
Labcorp OnDemand may suit you if:
- You want your sample taken at a Labcorp location and your result in a Labcorp account.
- You want a named, bundled hormone test, such as the four-marker Menopause Test, with HSA or FSA payment that its pages state is accepted. Its FAQ says the Menopause Test is intended for women 45 and older.
- You live in a state the walk-in seller doesn’t serve. Labcorp’s pages we read give no state list, so check before you order.
The walk-in seller we link to may suit you if:
- You want a single hormone at a time, such as progesterone or AMH.
- You want a stated one to three business days for results on single tests.
- You want to see its prices and test list in one place. See below.
Both involve blood drawn at a lab. Neither is shown here to be more accurate. Reference ranges differ by lab, and MedlinePlus says a result outside the range may or may not be a sign of a health problem. MedlinePlus
