Quest Health alternatives for women's hormone tests
Quest Health is also a walk-in service. You buy online and give your sample at a Quest location. Its women’s hormone options are two bundled panels, so the main difference from a walk-in test at the seller we link to is the menu: bundles on one side, single hormones and panels on the other.
This page sets out what each offers and who each suits. We are not affiliated with Quest. Its facts below come from its own pages as of October 2026, when we read them.
Basic female hormone panel
The lowest-priced panel with estradiol, total testosterone, thyroid and general health markers. The seller says to fast for at least 8 hours.

What a walk-in lab test offers
- A blood draw at a lab. The seller’s pages for its single hormone tests describe a simple blood draw, with no urine sample, swab or physical exam.
- Separate tests for each hormone. The seller sells progesterone, estradiol, FSH and LH, AMH, prolactin and the testosterone tests individually, and also sells panels.
- A stated turnaround. The seller’s pages for single tests say results appear in your account within one to three business days.
- Your lab order sets the timing. It says whether to fast or to draw on a particular cycle day. See when in your cycle to test.
The seller does not sell in every state. Check the list at where testing is unavailable before you order.

The pages also say:
- No doctor visit is required for purchase, but an independent healthcare provider is involved throughout the process, and independent providers review the results. A physician service fee applies.
- The pages show “HSA/FSA Accepted”.
- In-home collection through Quest Mobile costs an additional fee where it is available.
- Both pages say hormone imbalances can only be diagnosed by a healthcare provider based on your symptoms and history. They say the test does not diagnose PMOS or infertility on its own.
Who each option suits
Quest’s panels may suit you if:
- You want a fixed bundle that covers most reproductive hormones plus thyroid on one order, and your question needs most of them.
- You want in-home collection where Quest Mobile is available.
- You want HSA or FSA payment that the page states is accepted.
- You can fast 8 to 12 hours and, if you have periods, draw on cycle day 2, 3 or 4.
The walk-in seller we link to may suit you if:
- Your question needs one or two hormones, such as progesterone or AMH, and you would rather choose each one than buy a bundle.
Both involve blood drawn by lab staff. Neither is shown here to be more accurate. Reference ranges differ by lab, and MedlinePlus says a result outside the range may or may not be a sign of a health problem. MedlinePlus
