LetsGetChecked alternatives for female hormone testing
The LetsGetChecked Female Hormone Test is an at-home kit. You collect a finger-prick sample, mail it to a lab and read your results online. A walk-in test is a blood draw at a lab, where staff take the sample.
This page sets out what each offers and who each suits. We are not affiliated with LetsGetChecked. Its facts below come from its own page as of October 2026, when we read it.

What a walk-in lab test offers
- A blood draw at a lab. The seller’s pages for its single hormone tests describe a simple blood draw, with no urine sample, swab or physical exam.
- A separate test for each hormone. The seller sells progesterone, estradiol, FSH and LH together, FSH alone, LH alone, AMH, prolactin and the testosterone tests. You can buy one, or a bundle.
- A stated turnaround. The seller’s pages for single tests say results appear in your account within one to three business days.
- No kit to ship. You don’t have to collect a sample at home or return it on a particular weekday.
The seller does not sell in every state. Check the list at where testing is unavailable before you order.
What LetsGetChecked’s page states (October 2026)
For its Female Hormone Test, the page says:
- Markers: FSH, LH, prolactin and estradiol.
- Sample: finger-prick blood, collected at home.
- Timing: collect in the morning, Monday to Friday, and if possible on days 3 to 7 of your cycle. If your period is absent or unpredictable, it says you can collect on any weekday. The page asks you not to collect or return samples on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Results: available in your secure online account within about 2 to 5 days of your sample reaching the lab.
- Clinical support: a team of board-certified physicians reviews your order and results, and its clinical team may call to explain results.
- Payment: the page says it accepts many FSA and HSA cards.
- Age: you must be at least 18.
The page does not show a price or a list of unavailable states, so we say nothing about either. It does not list progesterone, AMH or testosterone in this test.
Who each option suits
The LetsGetChecked kit may suit you if:
- You prefer to collect at home.
- Your question is covered by FSH, LH, prolactin and estradiol together.
- You want clinician support included, as the page describes it.
A walk-in lab test may suit you if:
- You need a hormone the kit doesn’t list, such as progesterone, AMH or testosterone.
- You want to buy a single test rather than a four-marker bundle.
- You would rather have lab staff take the sample than do a finger prick yourself.
Neither is shown here to be more accurate than the other. Reference ranges differ between labs, and MedlinePlus says a result outside the range may or may not be a sign of a health problem, so talk with your clinician about the number. MedlinePlus
